On December 28, 2006, I started my Foundation by depositing $75M at Broadway Bank. Since I did not know how to run a Foundation, I hired the Wealth Management Division at Broadway Bank to run the Foundation for me.
In March of 2008, I made the decision to move the operation of the Foundation to Sirius. By July, it became obvious to me that I needed to hire someone to help me run the Foundation. I was fortunate to find and hire Melissa Bauman, from the AT&T Foundation, to be my Grants Manager.
