The Salvation Army today celebrated the 40th annual “Shoe-In for Kids” on the city’s Southwest side. The program provides brand new shoes for more than 2,000 children. More than 200 volunteers from several organizations presented the shoes to kids in low-income families. The shoes this year were funded by a donation from the Najim Family Foundation.
