The House of Neighborly Service

The House of Neighborly Service (HNS) is a nonprofit, multi-service neighborhood center which has been providing services to low-income, Hispanic residents of the Westside of San Antonio for 100 years. Founded in 1917 by Presbyterian missionaries, HNS became incorporated as a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit agency. Success Story

I am fortunate to be in this position,” said Najim.“This community has provided so much for my company, my family, and me. I am excited about being able to give back. Awarding grants to non-profit organizations focused on children is my way of personally contributing to the future of San Antonio. I am hopeful that my foundation will help make a difference in the lives of children and increase the quality of life in our community.

Our daughter joined Kids Place at the age of 17 months, we were very excited for her to start going but also scared because we didn’t know how she would react. We did tour other centers before we decided to place her at Kid’s Place. Our daughter has learned so much while enrolled at Kid’s Place. We are so happy that we chose Kids Place because it’s like one big family here.
