As Christmas approaches, the San Antonio Food Bank and Harvey Najim are making sure families have a special dinner with loved ones. This distribution was made possible, thanks to donations from philanthropist Harvey Najim. On Tuesday, 1,000 turkeys were given to families.

Katrina Morgan and Mark Allen Walker, attendees of the Harvey Najim Mobile Mega Holiday Distribution graciously share their story and gratitude for the support of Harvey Najim and the Food Bank during the holiday season.
“We have been married for 36 years, like many San Antonians family is my life. Times have been hard and they keep getting harder. No letup – groceries shopping is not like what it used to be, and gas is a luxury for us. I had a stroke 2 years ago. I didn’t let that get me down. I still have life in me. This food I got today I receive in thanks. My family of 5 will now have a good Christmas. Food during the holidays to me means happiness. Thank you!” Katrina Morgan and Mark Allen Walker
